Pink Purpose Project

Community-First Support Hub

No One Walks Alone

Rooted in the South Suburbs of Chicago — Riverdale, Illinois.

Where breast cancer warriors find sisterhood, families find hope, and the next generation finds purpose.

Community + Resources = Purpose + Opportunity

Our Mission

A Promise to Our Community

Pink Purpose Project exists to walk alongside breast cancer survivors and their families with community and resources — and to turn that purpose into opportunity through mentorship, education, and apprenticeship pathways for youth in underserved areas.

We believe no one should walk this journey alone — and that the same hands that hold a sister through her hardest season can lift a young person into theirs. — The Pink Purpose Promise
Who We Serve

Real Lives. Real Seasons.

Families in Multiple Seasons

Youth forming identity and direction; adults carrying health, work, and family pressures — both held in one community.

Women at the Center

Breast cancer support for women, with ripple support for families, partners, children, and caregivers.

$

Real Economic Reality

Median household income $40K–$55K. We provide resources that work on Monday morning — not just inspiration.

Culturally Responsive

Serving a predominantly Black community with respect, consistency, and partnership — Black women centered, all neighbors welcomed.

Sisterhood

Holding the Line for Each Other

A breast cancer diagnosis changes everything — the calendar, the body, the bank account, the family. Pink Purpose Project shows up in those moments with sisters who've been there, resources that move quickly, and the kind of love that doesn't flinch.

Our community is Black-women-led and open to every neighbor walking this road.

The Next Generation

From Purpose to Opportunity

The same community that survives breast cancer also raises the next leaders. Pink Purpose Project pours into youth in underserved areas with mentors who stay, education that works, and apprenticeship pathways that lead to real careers.

Because purpose, when it's real, becomes opportunity for the next generation.

Our Vision

The World We Are Building

We envision a world where no breast cancer warrior or survivor faces the journey alone — where every family has access to support, dignity, and hope — and where underserved youth are empowered through mentorship, education, and apprenticeships to build strong futures and lead with purpose.
